"To YOUR Success" Blog
It's Riskier not to do it. The inspiration alone is worth it.
Michelle Blog- I’m inspired by risk. Starting something I have no idea how to finish, watching other people go for their dreams – things that actually have potential for failure (but also opportunity for great reward) gets my blood and creativity pumping.
My friends call me the "risk taker" and I use to take offense to it. But now, I think of it as a valuable characteristic to embrace. When we started Purpose Publishing 7 years ago, it was a risk. Would people call us? Would we have access to the right resources to get the books done? Done well? We didn't know all the answers to our questions, but the excitement of trying something new, going for it and taking a shot at it was worth more than not starting at all. Now, 7 years later I stand up loud and proud saying, "It was ALL worth it." The trials right along with the triumphs. I like the quote.
Success isn't just about what you accomplish in your life, it's about what you inspire others to do. -Anonymous
It's appropriate as we celebrate our 100 Books/ 100 Authors. We've had the opportunity to inspire and be inspired by messages of hope, victory, love, commitment, mayhem and so much more. We've been more than just blessed by our clients, but we have been called to this work. It's our Purpose. My Purpose. Sometimes taking the risk yourself becomes the fuel and inspiration for others. So, what I agree with the unknown quote writer. Success isn't just about what I've accomplished, but what I've inspired others to do. It's different for all of us; each person has a purpose for their time on earth.
What's yours? Do you inspire others by what you do? How? Shoot me an email. I'd love to hear from you. Don't forget to Hashtag. #100books100authors
