I read an email from Gary Ryan Blair and his quote, intrigued me. It read:
“Hustle is one of those skills sets that kids should be learning along with good table manners and proper etiquette.” – Gary Ryan Blair
I thought. He's on to something here. I often have colleagues, friends, church members and family ask me the same three questions often enough to be counted as at least 3X's per year. They are:
How do you all that?
Where do you find the time?
Do you ever get tired?
And I usually answer each question the same way each year by saying, I just do it, I try to make the most of the time I have and Oh yes, I get tired…don't I get tired, respectively. But after I read Gary's email and quote. I said to myself, "Michelle, the real answer is you've mastered exercising your hustle muscle". And I've realized over the years that not everyone has it or will use it.
I started my career in a client relations role. One of the very first skills I learned was paying attention, being proactive and getting things done. Over time, and now in my business I've had the privilege developing other skills and cultivating my talents. But I firmly believe that there must be something in YOU, that makes YOU move. I'd like to share Gary Ryan Blair's article with you and let you decide whether or not you have the hustle muscle. I know I do!! Email me back and let me know if you use your hustle muscle. Or email me and let me know if you'd like some help building your "hustle muscle".
Here's to your Success,
MG
