For our customers, Purpose Publishing is maintaining and our services and our products are fully operational - it’s business as usual (albeit far from usual circumstances). Our working environments and shipping processes are monitored 24 hours a day, under the supervision of our nationally distributed teams. Our business continuity programs were built and tested far in advance of this current situation to ensure that we could operate from our virtual locations for as long as necessary.
As many must shift to more remote work, our services can play an integral role in gathering feedback from your employees, customers, partners, students, patients, and communities. Purpose Publishing is still accessible and purposeful from home as we are from any office. While managing through Social Distancing to some extent, use this time to evaluate, empower and equip yourself as the future of our times are changing.
We are a Christian company with values that acknowledge a Faith and No Fear mindset. With that, be mindful that the information and instruction coming forth also includes caution to help mitigate risk of continual spreading of the virus. Be prayerful and vigilant in seeking God and practicing righteous wisdom in all you doings.
With our systems operating as expected, we have taken the following steps to protect the health and wellbeing of our teams, clients and local communities:
Teams are encouraged to work remotely. Work-related travel and event attendance has been suspended or postponed.
In addition to using our normal collaboration and communication tools, we are providing employees a stipend to purchase additional equipment to ensure a comfortable and effective remote workspace.
For all of our work teams and clients, we will continue to pray for you and your families.
We continue to monitor recommendations from the WHO, CDC, and elected officials so we remain up-to-date on the latest information and safety protocols.
During this time of uncertainty, we will do everything we can to support our community around the world. Should global conditions shift, we are confident we can quickly respond to changing market dynamics, minimizing impacts to our business and disruptions to our customers and partners.
Our support teams are available during their standard hours and through the normal channels.
These are challenging and uncertain times, but we feel confident that as a company and community, we can get through this together.
In faith and not fear,
Michelle Gines, CEO
