I was reading an inflight magazine as we headed back from vacation and an ad struck me, Out of Many, One. The ad was to announce a new exhibit in the George W. Bush Center in Dallas, TX called Out of Many, One: Portraits of Immigrants. The title struck me because when I think about the 'many' people I've met in my life, there have been some 'ones' that have proven unstoppable, unfiltered and even unsung.
As many of you may have seen or read in a recent FB post, I lost an uncle pretty recently, Uncle Jeff. Of the many uncles I have, he was my 'one'. He taught me how to drive a car, but also how to have the drive to do and take action to get the results I desired. He had his own mind and way of thinking. He was unconventional for sure, but he certainly stood out to me.
But as always, I like to use this blog vehicle as a way to connect with readers and hopefully inspire you to a brighter thought, challenge you to grow yourselves and your business or just make the most out of what you have to work with. So, I'm asking you a question this week.
To whom, are you the 'Out of Many, One'? That's right, turn the light on you. Surely, over the course of your life you're the one for somebody else. We all are. Even as imperfect or possibly challenging you may be. You, my dear, are still the One.
You are and You absolutely can be. So, today - let's celebrate you. Out of many who wrote their books, it'll be ONE who hits National Best Seller. Out of many who start their next project, ONE will finish. Out of many who read this email, it will touch ONE. It'll inspire ONE to take action on their goal. Yet another, ONE will blossom into the business owner they really want to be.
